A Note from Our Founder

Over twenty years ago, I set out to change the workers' compensation medical management claims process. After dozens of years working in the workers' comp and no-fault insurance industries, I found the go-to ways of doing things—bill review, compliance guidance, case management—were outdated and spread across too many vendors. People were frustrated, disconnected and looking for an easier, more personalized way to get injured workers back to work.

I created Viscardi as an alternative: a one-stop medical management and consulting resource for employers, self-insureds, carriers and municipalities.

Since then, we’ve built proprietary technology to capture and leverage data in innovative ways, pioneered new case management services, like NRxCM®, and added adjuster assist and cost projection support. And, we’ve built every service with the humans we’re here to help—HR Directors, claims managers, providers, carriers and injured workers—at the very center of everything we do.

Today, our services are deployed at some of the largest carriers, employers and third-party administrators in the nation. Our long-standing clients continue to choose us because we get workers back to work faster than the national average, having increased productivity by thousands of days across the insured that we serve.
